A Zimbabwean Ndebele man and a South African Motswana woman walk into a church in South West London, UK. What felt like chance at the time has proven to be a divinely orchestrated encounter — a song, a smile and an introduction among friends that would change the course of history.
He pursues; she, in turn, receives and reciprocates. Three years, countless memories, and keen observations later, their story culminated into a lobola delegation and proposal. And now, you are about to honour them with your presence in the greatest celebration of love, commitment and family!

Our recommended gateway for guests flying to Johannesburg from abroad. Pre-book a hotel or private transfer to Muldersdrift.
Allow roughly 60-90 minutes on the road as a planning buffer, with extra time for traffic, immigration and baggage. This is not a guaranteed transfer time.

Closer to Avianto and useful for connecting domestic journeys. Check the current routes and your complete itinerary before choosing flights.
Avianto describes Lanseria as approximately 15-20 minutes away. Allow extra time and avoid tight, separate-ticket transfers between JNB and HLA.

Please check the rules for your passport and your whole itinerary before booking, and again before departure.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality, not where you live. Check South Africa's exemption rules for your passport. If a visa is required, obtain it before departure; visas are not issued at the border.
For full British citizen passports: current UK guidance permits tourism visits of up to 90 days without a visa. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days after leaving South Africa and have at least two blank pages. Other passport types and transit countries may have different requirements.
South African dual nationals should check which passport they must use. Carry your accommodation details and onward or return travel confirmation.
Since 1 July 2026, travellers entering or leaving South Africa must submit an online traveller declaration before travel, apart from limited paper-based exceptions. Each traveller must be covered, including children.
Complete the declaration through SARS and keep the email confirmation on your phone or printed. Follow the customs instructions it contains. This does not replace a visa.
Official SARS declarationA yellow-fever certificate is required for travellers over one year old arriving from a risk country, including certain airport transits longer than 12 hours. Ask a travel-health professional about your complete route well before departure.
Muldersdrift is outside South Africa's designated malaria-risk areas. Safari extensions, including Kruger, may need different precautions. Get advice for every destination on your trip.
Arrange travel insurance covering medical care, disruption and any activities you plan. Keep essential medication and prescriptions in your hand luggage.

Visit Nelson Mandela's former home at 8115 Vilakazi Street in Soweto, now a museum preserving the Mandela family legacy and South Africa's struggle history.
Allow time to explore Vilakazi Street. The museum is cashless and closes on selected public holidays; check visitor information before travelling.
